I am a freelance writer for LabManager.com. The motto of Lab Manager is “running your lab like a business.” Their goal is to help laboratory managers succeed and navigate the ins and out of what it takes to run a successful scientific laboratory. I definitely recommend their site and attending the yearly Lab Manager Summit Conference.
Soon after becoming manager, I realized there is so much that I did not know about managing people. Through hard work, reading, experimenting, and getting my Masters degree, I now have a much better understanding what it means to manage and lead laboratory personnel. Being a leader is an ongoing training program, you just can not read one book or take one class and say you are done. There is always something new you can learn .
Writing is one of my passions, so if you are interested in having me write for you, please use the online contact form to get a hold of me.
